Default relocating Sirius antenna for stock unit

Like others on here, I installed a Gobi stealth rack last week and the Sirius reception has taken a serious hit. Pun intended.

I see most folks have relocated an antenna to the hood, and I tried to do the same, but the magnetic antenna I picked up, made by Sirius, doesn't fit into the stock radio connector. Very close, but it won't go.

It's a right angle connector. the connection looks just like what's in the factory plastic adapter, it's just a little too large in diameter to fit in the receptacle.

So, who has bought a magnetic antenna with a connector that plugged right into the OEM unit?

Thanks,
D
