Relocating compass unit?

It's integrated inside of your cluster which is a self contained unit. There's no seperate connector or anything for it. You'd have to remove it from the cluster, figure out which exact circuits on a printed circuit board power it up, supply data, ground, etc. , and then solder wires into it and make your own harness to re-locate it.

The "black box"compass module installed under upper dash panel does have a harness connector(removed box while installed modded daystar upper dash panel)in theory you should be able to extend this harness to relocate unit(would probably want to keep in similar area).warning there is a compass recalibration procedure in owners manual you might want to reference, when I reinstalled my dash panel and compass module compass display was screwed up(doin some kinda bermuda triangle thing) untill recalibration procedure done

I think you are a little confused about how it is set up.
