Mikey, I forget the model#, but it's JLs top of the line component group in the 6.5" size and then their top of the line three or four ways in the sound bar. Hope that helps.

The only way to improve stereo sound IMHO, is to replace the stock stereo and stock speakers...period.
I swapped mine out with Polks. DB650 (I think). They are 6 1/2". I also packed the front pods and soundbar with LOTS of polyfill, I think it made a BIG difference. A lot less vibration.

I replaced all 4 speakers with polk 650's, sound was improved but it still lacked on the low end. Today I just put in an Alpine 9883, the difference is night and day. I also put poly fill inside the sound bar, sounds so much better. Your just better off replacing everthing. Next im putting a sub woofer.

how much polyfil are you all putting in?

2lb bag should be enough--correct?

I just went to walmart and got a bag for like $2.50. I just stuffed it as much as I could, it sounds great.

What would be a good amp to power just the rear speakers? Can that be done? Im kinda stupid when it comes to car stereos.

I should say that I also added a Kenwood subwoofer, it is not really a subwoofer, more like a midwoofer. But it helped a bunch.
