I believe it was just about writing lights. I'm looking for possible ways a light could be conveniently mounted in the back.

I made a custom bracket to hold my plate and I decided to mount the Hella 6 LED light. It is wired on its own switch and power source. I also installed the lightnin' bolts for the plates. The pic looks dimmer than they actually are.

I replaced my back up lights in the stock housings with LED bulbs, they work great, plug and play no new hardware to mount of anything to mess up in the wiring.

I like the set up. How did you make the mount? Can it be done with stock tire carrier?

Does it block access to the rear door handle? Can't really tell. Haha. I like it though
