Not sure how to troubleshoot this repair:
My 2009 JK Unltd rear driver-side door lock only works in manual from the inside door handle.
All other doors lock and unlock via either the key fob or the lock switch on the door.
The rear driver-side sounds likes it is activating, but it doesn't lock or unlock.

Any suggestions will be appreciated! TYIA

Sounds like the lock mechanism is binding and the solenoid can't move it.
The only fix I have found is to remove the door panels, (the one you can see, and the one under it), and lube the moving parts.

TY, I will try that when its not below 20deg F outside!
This problem started last spring and I simply didn't lock the back door all summer. This winter, the wife started using my JK and of course she locked the door manually....
