Default Rear Defogger Broken Connection

Hey All,

I'm new to the forum and recently purchased a 2008 unlimited Sahara.
The connection from the hardtop to the window has broken off for the rear defogger. Along with it the little nub that is supose to stick to the window has fallen off.

Does anyone know of anyway to connect this back? I'm afraid to sodder as I dont want to melt the metal strip thats runs along the window.

Has anyone had this problem? Is there such thing as a metalic glue that will allow me to stick this back on?

Winters coming and I need to get this fixed.

Thanks in advanced for any help.

To connect it back to the window you can try Permatex Quick Grid. I know it works great for breaks in the rear defogger, just not sure how sting of a bond it would form between two pieces.
