might also want to check the ignition switch. (not the cylinder, the electrical part on the back of it) my jeep had a similar issue and it ended up being that that the switches contacts were just worn out and and it would not fully engage and lose signal

So this was interesting, today I put the key in and the jeep would begin to cycle through the ignition sequence it would turn over then die. I would take the key out and flip it to the other side and the jeep would start no problems. I would turn off the jeep turn the key around and the issue would repeat were it would start and then die. I Flipped the key to the other side and it would start without issue. Noticed nothing on the red dot above the temp gauge when it would die. I am gonna get new keys keyed tomorrow Hopefully this will be the smoking gun. Will update tomorrow once this is done.

So I go 2 new keys cut and programmed, after I paid for the keys I proceeded to try and start the jeep,. Only each time I started it,. It would begin to turn over and then it would die. This happened using both new keys I just had cut but the original key would work without issue. So I went back inside and had them reprogram the key. I did notice each time I used the new key the security light would flash. We so once they reprogrammed the keys I have not had an issue and it is going on. 3 days. As it stands I think my problem is solved only spent 1000 to get a new optima battery new starter new spark plugs and the tools to do it and lots and lots of time.. oh well I learned something hopefully not problems will happen this weekend.

Thanks everyone for the types I will keep all in mind in case something happens over the next week or so

Randomly my 2012 JK will not finish turning over, The things that will happen are exactly that, I will put the key into the ignition and and turn it, the signal is sent to the starter and the flywheel pops to start the ignition sequence, the fuel pump will start to release fuel to the engine and the engine will begin to turn over as the turn over process is completing the engine dies. I try this repeatedly and get the same results each time. So like any rational human I start cursing up a storm, I then proceed to check everything. Battery check(brand new optima red top just bought 2 weeks ago and new terminal connectors also). Starter check(brand new starter replaced 3 months ago, test signal with line test worked) Brake pedal switch check(brand new switch, replaced 2 months ago). Spark Plugs check(all 6 plugs replaced and spacing set to 43) After thinking okay what else could it be.. fuel pump, fuel filter I put the key back in turn the key. This time the Jeep starts and proceeds to have no issues and I am able to drive the 40-50 miles home stopping a few places and turn the jeep off to Showbox jiofi.local.html tplinklogin see if issue returns, but it doesn't so I proceed driving home. Once I get home I would conclude since I am able to drive the 40-50 miles the fuel filter and fuel pump are not an issue, the issue seems to be more the ignition sequence. Could the ignition switch be the problem or could the problem be the transponder in the key? What things can I try to see what the smoking gun is? I have 135K miles on the jeep never had any crazy issues like this in the past and I have not added anything that would put a lot of draw on the battery or electrical system. Any thoughts I would greatly appreciate the advice.
I would guess there is a code which will help isolate the issue. It sounds electrical. Let us know how this progresses.

So I have narrowed the problem to the siks sensor. Is there a way to have the computer reprogrammed to just ignore this sensor? Sick of having to pull the pcm fuse.

Do you have a lot of keys on your key ring? All this weight can cause the lock mechanism in the ignition switch to wear out. Granted this typically shows up as the ability to start the vehicle and then be able to pull the key out of the ignition.
