I am looking for a radio that is somewhat water proof. One that won't stop working after a rain while off-roading with the top off. My current after-market radio has failed twice and I am not sending it in for repair a second time... It was a Kenwood Exceleon DMX907S. Anyone have any recommendations?

Try Marine Radio/Stereos.. Fit might be a issue.

 

Alpine states that their i509-WRA-JK is weather resistant, I recently installed an iLX-507 (same radio/features, but the smaller non-floating screen) in my wife's JK and she really likes it so far. I just couldn't justify the cost of the 509 JK kit when she didn't want it too flashy in the work Jeep that she never removes the top on anyway.
