Radio Squeal Help
Hello. Long time listener, first time poster. 2015 Wrangler Unlimited Sport. 110k miles.
Issue: radio squeal sound. Stock radio. Stock Alpine sound system w/ 10" sub. I've been living with this problem for a year or more now. And I can't take it anymore. The radio has a high pitched squeal on FM only stations at the moment. Does not change frequency with increase in RPMs. Increases in volume when volume on radio is increased. Nothing has been changed or altered as far as the radio. No aux devices plugged in. Car battery is fairly new, maybe 3 years old. Battery connections are good and clean. Aux trail light switch is mounted away from radio/antenna as well the aux trail lights themselves, mounted to front bumper. I have LED plug n play fog lights, LED parking lights and headlights (not Halos) all with the proper converters. I've swapped stock antenna to aftermarket and vice versa. No change.
