Default Radio/Odometer Light TOO BRIGHT!!!!

Has anyone else noticed how bright the Radio and Odometer lights are. While parked with the ignition off at accessory position all the other instrument lights are off so just the radio and odometer lights are on. They are WAY too bright to be able and sit/relax and take in a night view! There is no adjustement to tone down the intensity. The only way I could figure is to have the parking lights on, then you can dim all the instrument lights together, BUT then your parking lights are on which kinda sucks. Maybe theres someother adjustment Im missing?? Summers coming and I like to be able to drive to a nice dark overlook and listen to the radio without being blinded....

The most annoying light to me is the high beam light. It's like a blue lazor pointed in my eye.

Damn those Jeep engineers for not factoring in the "Park at night, listen to radio, low mood lighting." scenario. lol

Dude, try getting into the back seat. Turn everything off and just enjoy the sound of silence. All that radio noise is probably irritating the local wildlife anyway. Take a portable radio and some folding camp chairs and sit outside the jeep. Bring a towel and drape it over the dash. Is this really an issue?

Cant sit outside when its freezing out. I guess I'll be getting out the roll of electrical tape.

Get a piece of tinted mylar, cut it to the shape of the glass and stand it in there while parking!

too funny.

But really, I don't find the lights too bright. I often chill with a friend in the jeep at nighttime and I find it ok. But is it possible to dim the parking lights? Because it's sometimes too dark without them and too bright with them.
