RAD-1 Digital Audio Inclinometer
I saw this in Peterson's 4 Wheel & Off Road Magazine (issue March 2008)
http://innovatemotorsports.com/products/rad1.php
From the website: "The RAD-1 (Rollover Avoidance Device) is a precise Digital Inclinometer that features user-programmable tip points and a loud progressive warning tone (like a backup warning). The display shown X (Pitch) and Y (Roll) angles, and it's got a few other cool features, but it's mostly the audio warning that really makes it useful. Now you can keep your eyes on the rocks, trail, or road, while keeping an ear out for the RAD-1. "

Here we go again. So by that overwhelming logic (sarcasm) you don't need a gas gauge, because hey you should know how many miles your Jeep gets to a tank.

I with ya. I saw something that I thought was kinda cool and just wanted to share with everyone. All I have to say to him. "You mean to tell me you have NEVER made a mistake in your life?" Bull Shit. Then again that's my $.02

Yep, and it's just not always about mistakes. You're adrenaline is going, you have people cheering you on, and there are a million distractions. You feel that you're at a safe angle, or maybe you feel that you're almost ready to tip over. The gauge can help bring you back to reality. But I guess gauges are for pussies.

It's easy to make a mistake, especially on the trail. With the ability of the jeep, it's even more easy to overestimate how far you can push it.
Plus, what are you trying to say? You're not born to offroad. You need to learn how to do it some how. If it were a little cheaper, I would probably invest in one.
