I installed a Gobi rack on my unlimited last weekend. It looks great, but I soon discovered that my Sirius radio is now experiencing a loss of signal. I never had a problem with the radio prior to the roof rack install. I guess the expanded metal floor and tubing of the rack are causing the Sirius singal to be obstructed. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue? I have not taken the time to find the Sirius antenna yet, but I figured it would probably have to be relocated outside of the Jeep. Is the antenna weatherproof?

 

He pretty much hit it right on the head. Run your cable behind the corner moulding (A pillar i beleive). You will have to remove you sun visor to get the cover off. It all tucks rather well.

Thanks guys. I figured that would be the case. A magnetic antenna that I could stick outside should do the trick.
