Whew, 10 is thick for 55w lights.
Wire at auto parts stores usually has an amperage rating on the back of the package. 55w lamp kits usually come with a 20-30A fuse, so wire for 40. I believe 14 should work, 12 if you want to go a bit over. You can use as thin as 20-22 for the switch side of the relay, but I usually use 18.
I believe I usually use 12 for the load side of the relay and 16 or 18 for the switch side.
