Default pvc pipe for sub enclosure?

Has anyone tried or made a sub enclosure out of pvc pipe? Ive though about doing this but was wondering if anyone else has tackled it or discovered any issues with this?

I did it today and I haven't got a amp yet so I just wired it to the wires from the stock sub. Right now it just sounds like the stock 8. For mounting it has a incline as it drops and I just dropped it in there and ran the wires out of the spout.

The beat way to do this if you just have to have a tube would be to wrap tin foil around the pipe. Lay fiberglass and build a custom enclosure that mates up with the bottom of the jeep floor. Fill it with polyfil and spray with rhino lining. There you go.

i'd say go for it. almost like a bazooka tube. if it sounds like sh**, then throw it away. if it sounds good then you can figure out how to dress it up. cosmetics can be made afterwards. post pics if u pull the trigger.
