The Bi-Xenon capability would have to have some mechanism inside the lens. Have you implemented this or what?
Yeah, it's built in to the projector itself - the shield moves via solenoid.

Here's a couple pics with it on the rig. It reminds me of terminator - now only if the projector beam was red!

that's a pretty cool idea. Did you get an aftermarket projector or OEM? I rarely see any OEM with D1S bulb.
You can get the projector to look red (or any color) by painting the front of the shield red.

would a red shield have any impact on the beam color itself?

It's aftermarket projector

There's no negative impact at all. You paint the front of it, so no light is actually hitting it.

Very nice! It would look sick with some flat black paint and a proper lens housing.

Almost there.. Both projector shields have been painted red - unfortunately the lenses only appear red at some angles when off, but its still neat at the right angle.

What's left is finishing up the backs to keep out water/dust and then aiming them on the rig, and of course, pics.

Long delay, life happens.

Here's pics of the finished lights on the rig. One with the lights off (you can somewhat see the red shield for a terminator look) and one with the lights on. The cutoff is awesome and I've never been flashed, since they are properly aimed. Next step is to take pics of the beam pattern, but here is some eye candy.
