Default Power Windows (Front) Inoperable

My front power windows suddenly froze last night. Luckily in the fully up position.

My back pair work fine. Any ideas? Is it just a fuse maybe?

Of course I'm just over 36K.

Thanks for the help.

If you have taken your doors off then make sure your harness is plugged in or unplug it and plug it back in. Other than that you may give the fuse box a once over.

This actually happened to me the other day for the first time as well. Once I got home, I turned the jeep off, and when I turned it back on, the windows worked.

Maybe your JK was just tired....

My passenger rear did this one time prior to me ever having the doors off. A few bumps later (going down the interstate) it started working again.

X3

This has actually happened to me twice now. I just turn off the JK and turn it back on no problems.

I had this problem also and I turned out to be a bad switch. Before it stopped working it also would roll down when you start the engine. It was like having a ghost. The dealer told me that they hadreplace a couple of window switches in the past.

Thanks for the replies. Sure enough, my daughter took the Jeep to school today and the windows worked again.
