PLEASE HELP with OEM Trailer Hitch Wiring
I hope someone can help me I have a new 2015 Jeep JK 4DR I bought a OEM trailer hitch and wiring harness. I installed them and there is problems with the lights. I then disconnected the wiring harness because I did not have right brake or turn signal. I checked the pins on the OEM connector that plugs into the left rear tail light. This is what I found:
Top right pin =Left Turn/Brake Light
Top center pin = Running Lights
Top left Pin = NO POWER
Bottom left pin = Back up light
Can someone HELP me what pin should be hot when right turn signal is on?
When I put the right side turn signal on NO POWER to any of the pins. I have checked all the fuses and all the light on the Jeep work fine.
The picture of the connector is the OEM one that plugs into the left rear tail light.

Vehicle may need to be flashed by dealer. I bought a 7pin harness for mine and was told that without tow package it wouldn't work at all. I did have tow package so it wasn't needed.

I did check that fuse it was a 20 amp it was fine my fuse box lid showed it but stated 2 fuses I checked the both. I wish someone with a 2015 could look at there left tail light plug to see if it is like mine. I seem to be missing a pin bottom center on a older Jeep it is there and is hot when right turn signal is on.

Doesn't matter if you have the tow package or not. NO flash required EVER. It's all just plug and play. If it doesn't work return it and get one that does. I have both 4 and 7 pin harnesses. When I installed the OEM 7 pin I didn't have to drop in a fuse because it had an inline. I found you can't run the 4 and 7 in tandem even though they all plug together. You have to remove the left Jeep rear light and plug in the harness you want to use that day. Right trailer turn signal won't work when both are plugged together.
Is this your situation?
