So to clarify, by wiring like you said, constant LED on when accessory is on as well as when button is depressed to turn on LED lights and off when ignition is off?

Went and pulled mine from the box. White is output (labeled C and jumper to +) Red is 12v+ (labeled NO) Black is ground (labeled -) This is how it's wired so that when the lights are on the ring lights up

Thanks...I appreciate that. So I wired as your post says and it works the same way as yours now....ring is on when lights are on only.
After trying a hundred different combinations, it seems you can't have these rings light up on accessory and stay on with the button depressed.
