Default Pioneer D3 Setup / General Questions

For the Avic D-3,

The i-pod cord (http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...472031,00.html)
connects in the back right? And then you can route it down into your glovebox i think.

Does anybody have any pictures of their setup or know of any good cases or holders to keep the ipod stable in the glovebox. My wife really wants a nav unit but thinks that there will be wires hanging out all over the front. Some pictures of a whole setup would really help.

Thanks for everything!

I have the AVIC-3 in my Lotus and there is actually a small box that plugs into the back of the head unit and a thick white wire (about 5 ft long) which can be routed anywhere...has the iPod end on it. Charges while driving. Mine has the NAV too, yours does not?
