Default Pioneer AVIC F-Series Help

Does anyone who has installed one of these have a comprehensive write-up? It looks a little intimidating with the amount of wires that it has.

i installed my one. it is a lot of wires but a write up wouldnt rele help, it would take way to long for each wire
it looks indimidating but rele theres not much to it, plug in the harness (i used chto-03) and connect wires/rca's as shown on the install booklet. the only one which didnt work for me was the revers wire but that was an easy fix.
i say go for it, just take your time and double check stuff

So I hooked everything up according to the instructions, and No Power!

Anyone have any suggestions? Haven't tested the wires yet with a meter, but since everything was new out of the package, I'm more inclined to think I made a mistake.

Any help would be appreciated.

Before you install the f90bt you might want to bypass the dvd player option. If you want you passengers to be able to watch dvd's will driving. You can find the info on avic411.com I did to mine, I am currently modding the software to have a jeep on the navigation screen.

What are you going to be using the accessory lead for?

Which wiring harness did you use? I've read about people using the chto-03, but crutchfield told me to use C2R-CHY4. Any ideas if this one will work?

CHTO-03: For use with factory amplified systems.

C2R-CHY4: For use with factory amplified or non amplified systems. Includes interface for Navigation and Steering Wheel COntrol (SWC).

XSVI-6522: For use with non factory amplified systems. You didn't ask but this is the one I used to install a Kenwood DDX-812.

Does it matter which harness you need if you are replacing the stock infinity amp with a new amp at the same time the head unit is replaced?
