Default Peterson Led Headlights

Has anyone here installed Peterson's headlights? I installed mine and I feel that they did not fit properly.

Yes. There are a few threads on them. Here is one.

I installed them a couple weeks ago. Breezy-easy install. Fit great.

What concerns are you finding?

First I broke the clip as I was taking out the original light. After installing it looks like there is some space between the new LEDs and the jeep. I going to take a picture that will better explain what I am talking about.

If the factory Jeep headlight receptacle is broken, then any headlight won't fit. That wouldn't be a problem with the Petersons, but rather any headlamp assembly.

What folks have often done with the various 7" universal headlamps when they run into firmer issues is use some electrical tape. Put a layer or two of electrical tape over the headlamp assembly tabs before placing the trim ring back over the light to lock it down. This can make a more firm fit.

Try taking some pictures and posting about the specific problem you're running into. Might help others too.

I've had my Petersons in for a few weeks with no problems. When I first installed them, one side was a little loose and I couldn't figure out why. So I switched the lights around and now they're tight and fit perfectly. You will love the light output. Literally night and day from the stock lights.

Arjeeper - have you replaced your fog lamps yet? I'm trying to find something that will work and have the same color as the Petersons. It's strictly for looks so I don't want to break the bank if possible. Let me know.

I have not. Been debating these, as they are proper filament bulbs and cheap.

Also, many of the LED options are simply too bright. Fogs don't work if you're binding people.

I agree. There's a lot of options out there and I'm not sure which to go with.
