Default Painless Cirkit Boss- switched power source?

For those of you in the know... I'm installing the Cirkit Boss this week under the glovebox. Where are you pulling the ignition hot from? Is the left cig lighter the best source?

Thanks for the info. I'm curious and have limited access at the office.

Use the fuse tap and run it up into the empty electric seat warmer block on the fuse panel...off the top of my head I think it was slot M8 or M9, but double check.

I did the same here and used the fuse panel, all i did was cut a little notch into the factory fuse box to run the wire and fished it through the firewall foam piece.

If youre planning on installing it under the glove box you dont need a mounting plate. I installed my painless fuse box under my glove box and i used the cross member that is located right under the glove box. All you have to do is pretty much install it upside down, I cant take credit for all of this i did have some help from a fellow forum member .... Thanks Gary

so if i get this right, you hook up the + to the battery, power from the fuse box to power the relay and it gives you a certain amount of hot fused connections? so if i wanted to power my CB radio, i just tie the + wirefrom the CB with a connection to a hot wire from the cirkit boss?

I still need to ground the CB somewhere--right?

the cirkit boss just replaces the need to run EVERY device to the + terminal on the battery?
