Default p2504 what?

I went to the store tonight and the battery icon light lit up. I checked the code and it was the p2504. I have an 07 jku with a die hard battery that's 3 years. A few weeks ago I installed a set of rigid sr-q reverse lights but all of that was installed correctly. Has my alternator finally sh#t the bed and if so, what's a decent replacement? I have several sets of lights as well, however, prior to this evening, they have been used sparingly and are wired correctly. I just hit 70k miles if it matters. The lights have been installed for less than 3 years at around 50k

Get your battery tested first. My battery went out at the 2.5 year mark on my 2012... besides most auto parts will test a battery for free. Where I live they will only bench test an alternator meaning you have to take it off and into the store. I'm all about easy so having them test the battery is my first choice.

Good luck...

I can't get to one until tomorrow but I'm hoping it's the battery, not looking to drop 4 bills on a new alternator.
