Been there, done that! No point to argue! Running Evo manual for while. Chrysler Australia told me same thing! Misuse within warranty in 3th year. The punch line is they asked me for $7500 Australian Dollars not fitted! Talking year 2010. So warranty or not you betta off going with AEV&EVO combo!

What are the benefits of this combo? I was just going to go with the EVO manual Swaybar.

Wasn't your original question about how to turn off the blinking e-disco light? That's what the AEV Procal will do, as mentioned in an earlier post.

OK, I just wasn't sure what that was. I'll look it up and do some research. Thanks for all the replies to this thread guys!

I replaced the motor in my 2011 Rubi with the manual screw. It was working fine, I just wanted to be able to disconnect in something other than 4-Lo, and up until 24 hours ago, you couldn't get a Tuner for a 2011.

The install was a breeze and it has been working flawlessly for about a year now. It's super easy to screw and unscrew. I placed a plastic glad freezer bag around the electrical connection and zip tied it out of the way.

I may be remembering things wrong, but I don't believe I had my AEV Procal at that point, and I don't think I ever had the swaybar light come one. However, mine was working fine before hand. Maybe since yours was broken first, your light is staying on?

Yours wouldn't disconnect in 4hi?

The e-disco will operate in 4hi and 4lo. However, it's more apt to fail than the manual mechanism you installed.

I converted an e-disco to manual, with a lever in the cab. It's not installed yet, as the OEM e-disco has not failed.

It's only 4-lo on the newer ones. I guess the old ones were different? I'm wondering if anyone has any indication as to what makes the power disconnect fail. Is it just poor engineering? Trying to disconnect and/or reconnect when on uneven ground?
