Default Obd2 video out for gauges on 2din?

Id like to display my gauges on my 2din pioneer deck. Anyone aware of a product that takes your obd2 port and has a video out so I can display my tuner gauges on my double din instead of tuner display on the dash?

I see several Bluetooth devices but am under the impression they only transmit to an app on a iPhone. I could potentially run the video out from my iPhone but dislike having to plug in my phone and mess with things every time i drive. Would be nice to have the gauges display automatically when the 2din is already in that video input. Thanks in advance 👍

If you decide to go the iPhone route, be careful what BT device you get. Very few work with iPhones since Apple requires any connecting device to implement some protocol that makes them more secure. I went with a WiFi adapter and use my iPad as the display.

You could go a lot cheaper route and go BT or WiFi and get an inexpensive Android tablet to display the gauge data. I don't know of any that will convert to video, however.

Interesting I didn't know that about the Bluetooth or a wifi option. Unless it remained on all the time, having to start the tablet each time I got in would seem cumbersome tho. That possibly could be avoided I guess by turning off all power consuming apps aside from the gauge one and the tablet charging while i drive. Definitely going to look more into that.

To be honest, I'm not exactly certain what you're seeking (Video out? Why not just use the digital data directly?), and I know virtually nothing about Apple products (except I do know that some of their tablets don't have built-in GPS, which limits their functionality in Jeeps for many things like topo mapping and highway navigation), but I have installed an Android tablet (Nexus 7) into my Jeep and have produced a video about that. Honestly, watch just the first couple minutes and it gives you an idea of how I did the install. After that the audio quality goes south quickly, and it's mostly about the Android apps that I use (most of which aren't available for the iPad/iPhone). I never turn off my tablet when it's not in use, and I never need to charge my tablet because just plugging it into the Jeep every time I go somewhere is sufficient to keep it charged. I do leave the Wi-Fi turned off and my tablet is not cell network connected--could hotspot it, but have purposefully chosen apps that don't require data connection to work ...
