Default OBD bluetooth and Android Torque

I wanted to do a quick review of my OBD setup. I got a cheap "$10" OBD bluetooth module from eBay. I got the Super Mini ELM 327 Bluetooth Interface Support All OBD2/II Protocols. Small unit, don't even know it is there and it works great. I had an old Android phone that I mounted on the window. Torque is a FANTASTIC app that I am currently using in it''s free version. I picked some gauges that are close to color of the stock lights and run an app that keeps the phone on with power. So when the Jeep is on, the phone screen turns on. I really used it to clear an engine code that was not letting the remote starter work when it was tripped. It is an EGR valve issue. I clear the code when the light comes on and still can use remote start. I also use it for speedo and other gauges. while driving. I find it easy to glance at the phone for speed and am loving the setup. Power cord is run to center dash and to cig lighter. With the old phone and $10 OBD adapter, I have under $15 in the entire setup. LOVE IT !!

Thanks. I am going to get a straight chord and loose the cioled chord so I can run it closer to the windshield and hide the cable. But for now, I don't mind.

Been running this for a while also. Love being able to watch my temps while offroading or going up the Mountian. Have a galaxy mega mounted up by the mirror.

That's a great idea for a constant set-up

Yes. It has its own 6.5 inch fan for cooling it. So I like to watch the temp on it in the mtns.

Best daytime shot I have right now. I just fabbed a mount out of some stuff I had laying around.
I have a otter box case so I hard mounted the holder and just snap it in or out.

Thought so....I only get that trans temp when running on the highway with no shifting for about 15 minutes.
Never had that hot oil warning though.

What Adapter did you purchase? I received the HOT OIL message, so I've installed a additional Cooler but also want to monitor the Trans Temp.
TIA
