Default Not happy with new head unit trim

Not happy with how the unit sits back in the dash. Did I do some thing wrong or is this just the way it is?

That's a huge gap! I would double check install and make sure you have all the necessary trim pieces.

Just an FYI: While you may have missed something on the install for this after-market system, I have had three (3) different trim pieces replaced on my 2014 JKUR since I picked it up last year. I have the 730 system from Jeep, and the dash bows out like that right below the sceen from the factory, apparently. I was skeptical, so I went through every JK they had on the lot (there were about 25), and noticed that the gap is pretty consistent in most of the brand new units on the lot. I only saw 1 or 2 that were straight. I finally got one that was okay. Kind of. It still bows out a bit, and most don't notice it. Problem is that as soon as you see it, that's ALL you see when you look at the dash...

The headunit will stick out a hair and won't be 100% flush. With that being said you shouldn't be able to see into the dash panel at all. You need to adjust it is all.

Ok, thanks for all the help guys. I kinda figured the unit needed to be slid forward. I'll check the other mounting hole options. Thanks again
