Default No brake lights, but I've got everything else????

So I purchased this Jeep in June, the brake lights stopped working and the dealer said they won't cover the repair. They did tell me the fuse box inside the engine compartment is bad. I purchased the fuse box and replaced it. The brake lights started working. I went wheeling yesterday and the brake lights stopped working again.

I took a multimeter and tested the tail light, there is power to the tail light when the headlights are on, when the blinker is on and when the hazards are on. No power when the brakes are applied. I then tested the plunger/switch at the brake pedal, power it transferred at the appropriate times. I tested slot M1 in the fuse box because the diagram says that is the brake sw slot. I took that as the brake switch and there is power there.

I am lost as to what else could cause just the brake lights to go out. Please leave some input so I can try and diagnose/fix this issue. Thank you in advance!

the power pack of wires going to the back end might have been damaged? Maybe the wire going from the brake pedal to the rear has a short?

Wait - you bought a Jeep just 60+ days ago and the dealer won't repair something like that under warranty??? Even use vehicles come with a minmum 90 day warranty. I'd start making phone calls immediately...
