The topic was only briefly touched but "driving" lights are a lighting pattern. There are many light patterns depending on what you want out of your lights. Driving lights are the pattern given off from your headlights (wide and medium distance; a flood light is a very wide angle but does not penetrate very far; Spot lights are very narrow but penetrate the farthest; Fog lights have an angle between flood and driving and have penetration similiar to floods. You should decide what you want from your additional lights and then you can start to narrow down your selection and plan better.
