Newbie Installer needs detailed instructions for ARB on Board wiring
Help!
After toiling all day on this, I can't get it to work.
Mounted and wired the connections per the ARB manual and wol write up. I connected small black wire to ground and back and forth with the other black wire to negative and it still won't turn on.
Tapped the driver side cigarette lighter wire and the temp control wire. Double checked the relay switch, all connections, and still no luck. Also made sure the compressor was hooked up to my tire.
When I turn on the key, the switch doesn't light up. I crimped the splice tap as hard as I could. Help please!

I was going to ask if you checked the fuse, but if you aren't even getting the dimmer light on the switch (when you turn your headlights on) then something is definitely wrong with the way it is wired. Re-check the ARB diagram to confirm you have the correct wires going to the correct spots on the Contura switch. Also make sure you tapped the correct wire for switch power.

Got it! I rechecked the splice connections an realized they weren't piercing the wires. Both the power and dash illumination work. Thanks to all for your help.
