Cant find the link just now but I bought what amounts to a OBDII--- " Y " jack splitter from some place like 'cables dot come' or OBDII cables dot com" for somthing like $15........... allows me to run both the Aero gauge and a scanmaster gauge at the same time. Just unhooked the port connector from its cradle & plugged un the Y splitter and have it all shoved up under the dash. Takes only about 20 seconds longer to get to it to remove one of the gauge cables if I need to re-program with the hypertech.......

I'm about 97% sure it was off the site below...I was considering it from 3 places but IIRC it was this one. the 'splits' look the same but the main housing on mine looks ever so slightly different....... ((Non sponsor so hyperlink removed))

obd2cables.com/products/obd-cables/obd-ii-cables/cable-j1962m-to-2-j1962f-y-cable-1ft.html

Goes for $15+ some change and S/H and IIRC got it in about 4 days. Hope it helps.

I am happy to report that I (finally) got around to installing the aeroforce oil temp and pressure sensors to accompany my interceptor gauge. (and ya, I got help with the wiring )

My question to you all: now that I am no longer (blissfully?) ignorant of my oil temp and pressure.... WTF should I be looking for??

Can anyone tell me what operating pressure or range I am looking for?
Same for temp. Is there a max I should be on the look out for?

I need some education here! many thanks!

Oil Pressure:

At Curb Idle Speed* (Minimum with engine at operating temperature) 5 psi
CAUTION: *If pressure is ZERO at curb idle, DO NOT run engine at 3000 rpm.

At 3000 RPM 30-80 psi

Oil Temp:

No data as water temp is the critical parameter.

The AeroForce gauge for the JK is now being shipped with the ability to :
Reset tire size
Reset gear ratio
Reset TPMS threshold
Set idle speed for winching, etc.

If you have an older gauge, you can send it in for a reflash to include these features for $26.
