New OBD2 gauge installed - Aeroforce Interceptor
#101
I had a single gauge pod for a Ford that fit over the steering column. I wonder if they make one for the JK. I am going to order this but I need to figure out a good mounting location. I liked the installation where the guy put it between the vents, however, for those of us with power windows, we're SOL.
I like the universal mount but I'm going to think about other mounting locations a little more.

Once the gauge is installed you need to set up which platform (#2 for jeep) and then choose which 'gauges' off a list of 30+ you want monitor (you can only see two at a time) that you toggle between.
After that you go back into the settings...... and IIRC scroll down thorugh multiple screens to get to CONTROLS...select it....toggle down to ESP OFF- select it and then toggle down to exit--- once you hit exit the jeep pings and the lights go off showing ESP (and other) stuff is off.

How big is the OBDII plug for the Aeroforce gauge? I broke the Hypertech OBDII plug when I was programming the vehicle because the battleships I call "shoes" hit the connector when I had it attached. I suppose I could relocate the plug further back if I had to.

The connector is very small, about the size of your thumb and the cable exits from the side so you dont have anything pointing straight out like a programmer cable.
Sorry no picture of the connector but here is my mount (upper left corner of windshield)
