I think I had to get in touch with my inner contortionist to get some of these out. I also remember having to remove a brace under the steering column to get to one of those screws too. The only tools I used were metric wrenches and a nut driver. I'll look again at the instructions when I get home.

Best thing is to use a piece of wood or similar to hold the trim out. Then a ratchet with a 90 degree Philips head and a small stubby Philips will get it out. It's a pain but it does come out!!!

Just ordered 2 pairs of these from quadratec. I can't wait to get them. Also a big thumbs up to quadratec for price matching!

What did quadratec give you for a price match?

How do they compare to the Infinity speakers?

Quadratec gave me the same price as all USA. It was $65 per pair. I will give Quadratec credit for the shipping as well. It was more expensive than anywhere else (I believe $20 or $25), but they did ship almost instantly (got a tracking number to my email) and they were here the next day. This was for the regular shipping and I ordered them at 1pm and they were here by 5pm the next day

I installed two pairs of these along with a new Alpine head unit last night in my 2011 2 door. Disassembling the dash to get the head unit in was pretty straight forward and the read speakers were a breeze. I have to say that getting these speakers installed in the lower dash was a total pain in the ass. You need to take the entire lower dash apart on both sides to access all three speaker retaining screws and can't merely remove the screws holding the lower dash and pull it back (that will work for two of the three screws but won't give enough clearance to remove the top screw holding in the speaker. Now that its all done, I am not so sure that they sound enough better to justify the effort. To put this in perspective, i am a novice with no dash removal or radio install experience prior to yesterday.
