SM6024J
SM6024J Headlamp Kit for Jeep Wrangler 2007->. Replaces H13 lamp with Hella E-Code H4 Headlamps

This is the kit from Rally Lights that is made for the Jeep JK 2007+
Just spoke with the owner and he was very helpful

I swapped for the 100/80 Hella Premium Xenon bulbs for more punch as suggested above.

$252.43 total including shipping, wiring harness and better bulbs.

Also, should I get new fog light bulbs?

What do you recommend? Who's got the best lights out there guys?
I've had my '12 JKUR less than a week. First night I had it I swapped out the factory lights for JW Speaker LEDs, and am extremely happy with them. You need to do a bit of surgery, but the end result is fantastic. Total cost is beyond your $6 bulbs, though. You're up around $800 for the set.

I know people out there like the H4 Headlamp conversion kit for a nice chunk of money,

But what about the lamps from Hella H.P. a H13 upgrade

or going with the PIAA H13 Extreme White Plus Bulb.?

I know these cost less than the H4 kits but more than the Sylvania SilverStar.

Call the guys at Rally lights, they will tell you why just changing bulbs in the OEM headlamp housing is a waste of time.
Do it right and replace it all.

That's what I'm using right now. A complete headlight upgrade is not out of the question though, in the future.

Why waste money "replacing it all"? SilverStars are excellent, then use the extra money for other Jeep mod's.

(begins rant)

Why waste money installing "good" bulbs into crappy housings?

On top of that, there is no such thing as a good H13 bulb, by nature, the H4 is a far superior bulb as it's low beam has a built in reflector to eliminate the glare even before the beam reaches the head light housing and lens.

As long as you go with Hella, IPF or CIBE, you'll have dollar for dollar the best lighting upgrade you can ever do to your Jeep.
Think about it, you can't use your off road lights with on coming traffic, and the JW Speakers are arguably only slightly better than the halogen conversion but are 6 times the price.

(ends rant)

If you read the base of the bulb, you see why I'm excited.
