New 8 switch sPOD problem?
Ok, noticed a problem. When putting in a air compressor for the air horn's I had to move the power for the compressor to another switch as it was having some sort of fluctuating voltage going on causing the compressor to cycle on and off very fast. I moved it to another switch and all is good, no more fluctuating. Now the switch that controls the CB radio all of a sudden started doing the same thing, radio will power up and down very fast as if the power is being cut off and on. My front cube lights are ok and the compressor is still working like it should. there is nothing hooked up to the sPOD that is drawing a lot of amp's . I sent a email last week to sPOD asking for some tech help but have not heard back from them and theres no phone to call except sales and thats a recording. Since this is a new product i understand there will be failures of some sort, just want to make sure that there is nothing wrong with the sPOD as I plan on adding lockers, and lighting underneath the jeep and want everything to work like it should. So has anyone had a problem or ideas to work on. This weekend I am going to check the voltage and amps coming out of the sPOD under the hood that correlates to the switch. Sorry for the long post but thats about as short as i can make it.

Can't offer you any specific help, but when I had a problem with my sPOD last year they were very fast to call back (after e-mail) and help me to correct the problem. Others have reported similarly responsive service. They are a small, family business, so it could be that they are busy at a trade show or actually off-roading somewhere or such. Suggest you try e-mailing/calling again on Monday.

sPod is up at Big Bear Forest Fest this weekend. I spoke with them and it sounds like that circuit is in flash or strobe function. If this doesn't fix it, call or email on Monday.

The newer SE (8 switch) are programmable, cycling on/off/on quickly can cause a strobe effect. I'm not too familiar with it other than that. Check the instructions for programming directions and see if that corrects, if not, they are very responsible when in the office.
