need new battery, optima yellow top?

It would work, but if you're doing that anyway you obviously have serious electrical need with a significant power draw... Why not just use two deep cycles so if you drain both your batteries they will still recharge and cycle well?

The deep cycle batteries have plenty of power to start the vehicle but also the added benefit of resiliency to charge and discharge cycles.

I bought the yellow top this January. If you let the Jeep sit for 10 days plus its dead as a doornail. Pretty sad for a $190 battery

It should still be under warranty. I'd try returning it for a new one. Sounds defective.

I agree. It shouldn't do that, unless it was almost dead before it was let to sit, or something has been slowly draining it
