Hello everyone. I'm trying to up load pictures to the mygig 730N and it's not working. I've tried a flash drive in the front USB on the radio and the one in the center console, CD-R and DVD-RW nothing's working. Anyone with any info please help. Thank you in advance.

 

When you say you're trying to load pictures, what format of picture are you talking about? Polaroid??

 

What are Polaroids?? Just kidding. No I got the pics off of a thread on the forum. I think it was call the official mygig picture thread.

 

Haven't done it on that model, but on my '09 mygig you had to make sure the file name, path and size of the picture was correct.

 

I believe the format needs to be a Jpeg file and saved with the file extension ".JPG"....not ".JPEG".

 

In order for your 730N to recognize your thumb drive you will need to have at least one .mp3 file stored at the root directory. Once the radio sees an .mp3 file it will recognize the drive and you can add music and/or pics. Be sure your pics are .jpg and not .jpeg.
