Default Need Help with fog light problem!

I was installing a new to me factory bumper and lights to replace my dented one, when i was splicing in the new plugs for the fog lights i shorted it by accident( rushing due to storm rolling in) and now the odd part, The passenger fog light wont turn off! any ideas? thanks

Have you tried disconnecting the battery negative terminal for a few minutes?

The fog lights are computer controlled. If the above suggestion doesn't work, you may have fried something on one of the circuit boards in the TIPM.

Trying that as i type, just seeing if anyone had any other ideas

Possibly frying something in the TIPM is another idea.

Yeahh, is that a hard/expensive part to replace?

A TIPM is around $250. They have been on a long back-order, but some people have managed to find one.

Price of installation varies a lot.

What was the nature of the short you had?

Just had the power on and the positive and negative touched for a sec and it sounded like a fuse popped, now the side that the short happened On doesn't work an the other won't turn off
