The radio/nav and all other functions work fine but the music loaded onto the HDD does not display or play. I tried deleting all music files but for some reason it didnt work. Should I try disconnecting the battery to see if that will reset it? BTW i'm still running version 9.713, is there somewhere I can download an update (if there is one) that wont fry the mygig system?

Crap I just downloaded 2.045 from mofv lol, will 2.107 correct my issue? 2.045 sure didnt lol.

Update, drove to the dealer this morning to see if I could get in today and have them look at the mygig, no dice but got an appt. for monday. I get home, turn the jeep off and try the HDD again and to my surprise the songs are all displayed and working, every other function of the mygig is working as well and I can add and delete songs. I dont know what the hell changed between 8:30AM when I left for the dealer and 9:30 when I got home but something apparently did. whpony96 would you recommend I update from 9.713 (switched back to it last night) to 2.107? Or should I just leave well enough alone?

I think your Jeep had the crap scared out of it thinking that some clown at the dealership was going to start tearing it apart trying to get the MyGIG working, so it decided to smarten up and set things right on its own

I'm running 2.045 and Gracenotes 2057 and everything is working great for me.

Thats exactly what I said. From now on i'm just gonna drive to a dealership and be like "Listen ol' girl, we can do this the easy way or the hard way it's up to you" haha. I downloaded 2.045 last night and it installed with no issues at all other than the damn HDD still wasnt working properly. I'd be happy to just re-install 2.045 and update gracenotes but im a little worried it's going to mess up the HDD on me lol.

From what I've read, a lot of people say it often takes the unit some time to recognize the songs on the HD again after a software update. I didn't notice this after I installed 2.045, but that might be because I've only got about 350 songs on the HD.

Mine wasnt recognizing the songs before I installed the 2.045, didnt do it afterwards either lol. I have maybe 50 - 60 songs on the HD, either way its working now so i'll leave it be for a day or two and if it's still good i'll update.
