Default Mygig navigation update disk

Has anyone purchased the update disk for the MyGig navigation? Was it worth the 200 bucks they want? Is there any other change, other than the addition or subtraction of points of interest and the addition of some roads?

that's a pretty steep price, you can buy a whole brand new GPS unit separately with current maps for less than that.

If you live in a rapidly growing area like Central TX with new sudiivisions, tollways, and highways being added monthly, then it pays to update. Same if you do a lot of cross country travel. But if you're in a dying rust-belt city that is fairly static, save the bucks for something else.
