I think I've run into this problem before. Your software you currently have is too old. I believe you probably need to do an intermediate update.

Something like v1.2xx or v1.1xx

Ok that's what I was wondering. Like where to start since it was such an old software. I just decided to download like 6 different old ones. Including: 9.561, 9.713, 9.807, 1.295, and 2.045. Just gonna try from the beginning.

What type of media are you using dvd cd I've found it's best to use cdr from name brand like Sony or tdk don't use dvdr media

Yea I'm using Sony CD-R. As we speak I'm burning each to a cd and about to walk out and try them to see if the old versions will allow this to update.

So I finally got it to take a disk and "update" to 9.561. But for the past hour it's been on this screen. What do I do now?

It's having trouble reading that disc. Burn again....but slower burn speed.

Alright finally got it to take the downloads. So now Im all updated. And now I go to the Engineering mode and when I go to activate the Uconnect it's dim and won't allow me to press it to enable it. Any ideas?

Did you follow the downloading, extracting and burning guide? Mygig is very picky about how files are named.
Actually 2.403 is the latest one out.

Did you install the mic? It will not activate without a mic plugged in.
