Hi I have a 430 mygig that I need the security code for it. Can anyone help. The dealer is not very useful. There used to be a site to get them from (mofv.com) But, it has not been up for sometime now. Any help?

 

To my understanding, you need the dealer (unless your idea of a weekend is to try all 1296 possible combinations). You'll see threads where people have done it. I would try another dealership if possible, and in the mean time try the basic 0000, 1111, 9999. The problem is, as you probably know, the radio will lock you out for a period of time after a number of missed tries. IIRC, there is a way to wire in a switch that allows you to reset the radio before you lock yourself out, and can then continue to try random codes without the lock out time. If you find an alternative, please post up! It is unfortunate that mofv has been down, I could use it to update my software.

 

I installed the same radio a few months back and 0000 worked for me.
