just installed UConnect 82211004 in my 2008 wrangler with single disc RES head unit...

Is there any way to scroll through songs? I thought I read that you can use the tune/scroll knob to scroll through the songs. It works when I'm in list mode but as soon as I select a play list or album it just plays the first song without letting me select which song to play

I have to use the two buttons on the top left to go to the next or previous track.

Also when I go to a playlist and hit play it doesn't start from the first track. It starts in the middle of the playlist.

Did I not get it starscanned properly? or is this normal?

hit the button you are yousing to scroll through the songs to select it.

What? No, I'm asking HOW do you scroll through songs?

Once I select a playlist or album it immediately starts playing one of the songs in the playist. It doesn't let me select which song. While in a playlist or album turning the tune/scroll wheel does nothing.

Sounds like normal behavior...before I had the MyGig, I had the RES w Uconnect/ipod and it worked just like you're describing.

That sucks though, why would they not let you scroll through the songs with the tune/scroll wheel?? And why is my Uconnect starting with the 4th song down in every playlist?

Would the REQ (6 disc) head unit work better?

I had both RES and REQ, functionality was pretty much the same between them.
