I'll have to look into welding cable. The bulk battery cable costs a fortune.

So this project is coming along. Mounted the warn box in the same location as above. One issue I'm dealing with is finding a way to protect the cable where they run under the body, near any metal, anywhere else they may wear through....the 1/0 welding wire is VERY thick and but it's flexibility is making it possible. I'll post pictures once it's all said and done.

Yea that was the plan initially, but the 3 wires bundled together are about 1.25" OD so there is no room to bundle them together. I'm going to sleeve them individually in wire loom(actually like the wrap in the picture above, the ribbed stuff). This way I can spread them out to where so they can fit. It's pretty amazing that a smaller engine can take up sooooo much more room....it's all that fat aluminum i guess

Yeah, the Pentastar engine bay is jam-packed with less engine! Doesn't make much sense. There isn't room for anything! I was looking at a buddy's 88 YJ engine compartment yesterday and laughing. You could fit a small apartment in there!

So I was planning on extending my remote hookup to my glove box but now I think I'm just going to get the wireless controller from engo. Has anyone used it before? How does it work?

I didn't know they even had one. I'll have to look into that. What do they cost?

Getting ready to put my winch order.. I going to add a switch in the cabin and now I am going put the solenoid under hood as well and use the stock bumper to mount.

was the 4 gauge the right diameter to maintain the waterproofness(?) of the controller box? Or did you have to end up putting some silicone on there to seal it? Also, is the 4 gauge heavy enough to handle the amp draw?
