I just took home my 08' 2 door x, and the dealer installed the mopar remote start. When I use it, my hazard lights flash until I put the key to the on position and step on the brake. Anybody have a similar issue? Or better yet a quick fix????

Im not sure on the Mopar's, but on the DEI made units like Viper, it is a programmable feature to have the lights flash or stay on constant.
So maybe the Mopar is that way too and dealer can change it for you?

There are some people here who have the Mopar unit installed, so maybe they can chime in on what theirs do....

Don't know why your's does this. My parking lights flash twice after the second push of the button on the remote then stay on, the jeep starts and they remain on constant until I put the key in the switch and turn it to the on position!

Are you positive that you have the mopar kit? I know our audiovox units can be programed to flash like you say. Check with the dealer to see if the mopar kit can be programed too.

I have an 07 with the Mopar kit and mine just stay on solid till you put the key in and hit the brake. I looked in the manual and for 07 flashing lights are not an option.

There is either something wrong with the install or a new option for 08.
