If you look in the navigation manual it states the website you can go to to verify updates available and then go to a local dealer and they can install them. Sorry i don't have the web address with me. Hope this helps

hey look on ebay I thought I saw some kind of map update CD somewhere on that. I forgot what I was looking for on ebay but ran across that. I don't know if its the newest version. I just got my JK in april and the salesman told me that was the lastest edition of the maps. We have some many new subdivisons going up that i can't find them on there. Hope that helps and if I find something out I will let ya'll know or visversa

Yeah, if you're looking for map updates - you're going to keep looking. They are usually pretty slow to release updates.
My wife's 05 JGC nav isn't updated yet...so that ought to give you a frame of reference. I think they usually take a year or so to release updates. Look at the AVIC-Z1...they had to release a whole new model before they updated their maps for both the new and old model.
Bottom line: don't expect quick updates. If you want quick updates you'll need something that's updatable online like a handheld unit.

I emailed DC about the MYGIG site in the manual not working...I got a canned response and it still doesn't work a month later. I'm not simply looking for Map updates...I want MyGIG O/S updates too, bug fixes, firmware updates...just seems natural for a product of this nature doesn't it?
