You will want to amp your speakers if you want it loud... and clean.

Alpine makes an inline amp that puts out 45 watts per channel and it all silts behind the deck. And its pretty cheap. Had it in my Evo and plan on putting it in the rubi soon

I swapped out my non-infinity speakers with mopar kicker replacements from amazon. Completely plug-and-play with connectors. No wire splicing or anything and the difference was night and day. I have read that these sound much better than infinity system and I believe it. I think they are rated for 75 RMS each. Not sure how much the stock HU pushes
out but it sounds good without an amp. All 4 speakers cost about $155 shipped if i remember correctly. Hope this helps.

First, you need to take out your stock speakers and light them on fire. That's the only thing they could possibly be good for. Then it depends on the speakers you get to replace them. Most aftermarket speakers are around 60-75 watts rms. In that case you should be looking at 60-75 watts rms per channel amp. You can mount it anywhere in the trunk area, or under front seats. If you get a (physically) small amp, you can mount it on the side wall behind the front seat belts. Another option is under the driver side dashboard. Just take the amp (once you get it) and see where it fits best in your JK.

Ktp-445u is the model. The one i have needed to be run with an alpine deck but this looks like it is universal. Suggested retail is 150
