My first set of Hella 500's I purchased for almost $100 from a local 4x4 shop here in town. I had seen them in the Quadratec catalog for about the same price so I guessed this was average price. Last week while taking my traditional stroll through the automotive department at Wal-Mart, I spotted a few Hella boxes. I found the 500's there for $62 and some change. I didn't necessarily need 2 more lights, but at that price I couldn't leave them there on the shelf! Hope this saves someone an extra 40 bucks!

Just so you know, there are some counterfeit Hella 500s floating around; there are also two distinct different batches of genuine --- China sourced and Germany.

 

If'n I were a bettin' man, I'd say the China lights are at Wally World.
Everything else there is from China.
