Okay, I did a search and came up with squat...

I have a 2008 Sahara Unlimited with the RER myGig and a Lockpick. For some strange reason, I can NOT seem to even get my phone or the myGig to see each other using BT. WTH am I doing wrong. The iPhone 3G is set to DISCOVERABLE and the Lockpick worked fine with my crappy Blackberry Curve. I just want to be able to make them talk to each other so I can use the hands-free feature...of course being able to upload the phone book from my iPhone would be nice too.

Any help out there????

Are your pin locations on the lockpick in the right up/down setting? MyGig w/nav pin positions should be 1-down 2-down 3-down 4-up(if you have VES, down if you do not have back-up cam) 5-up. Also you may need to update the software.

Also, what software is on the MyGig? If it's older, you may want to upgrade, they have fixed some phone compatibility issues as time has gone along.

I have a 08 RER running software VER. 2.043,the Iphone 3G it linked up with bluetooth no trouble at all and downloaded the phone book with no trouble all without a lockpick, a lockpick was added later the only difference I see after the lockpick is it seemed slowed the phones responds to voice commands but not enough to complain about.
The only question is what software ver. Are you running you may need to upgrade to add the Iphone.

I am not sure what software version I have on the myGig. It has whatever version was sent with my Lockpick about 6 months ago. Maybe it's RER 2.02 or something like that?
I tried again this weekend and still can't figure out how to do it. One of my friends said something about going into the engineering menu to make it work....???
