Lockpick V4 or chr550 ?
So I picked up a mygig for the jeep and now am looking into unlocking it. So witch one is better the lockpick V4 or the chr550? Or would a earlie version work just as well? The mygig is from an 08 I believe or early 09.
Thanks
Thanks

The chr550 is better since it has/does everything the v4 has/does. You get a lot more with the chr550 like the ipod hookup, L/R and front camera. I'm currently trying to figure out which is worth my coin. Right now I'm leaning towards the v4. All I really want is the rear camera and nav unlock.

I was understanding that the v4 did all those as well, or at least I thought it said it did, except for the iPod controls. I was not sure what the difference was except for about 100 buxs.

V4 does all the cameras, VER, dvd etc. 550 has the ipod. If you find you want to add. Ipod to your mygig later you can add the factory harness and it will work with the V4. In the end it will cost about the same

Wow...really? $350 for that thing? With the way prices are on aftermarket units, it's tempting to go that way for a superior unit as opposed to spending this kind of coin on a lockpick.

Perfect that's was what I need to know. Thanks bull.
Now to just find a deal on one of these and I'll be all set.
For 350 you don't get much of an aftermarket radio IMO. At least up here in Canada you be putting out 1g at least for a nav, entertainment radio, and then you have to buy the install kit. 350 is cheep to unlock a mygig completely.
